FINANCING

In mid-2012, Reinier de Graaf hospital, the Reinier de Graaf building consortium general partnership, BNG Bank, Rabobank and ING signed an agreement to construct a brand-new building. The banks provided the necessary long-term financing and the working capital of EUR 250 million. BNG Bank's participation was EUR 70 million of long-term financing. At that time, when the availability of financing could not be taken for granted, BNG Bank continued to fund good, realistic business cases such as this one.

NEW BUILDING IN DELFT

The loan was for the construction of a brand-new, modern medical centre of more than 56,000 m2. The building consists of six floors, horizontally linked through a central axis. The interior showcases a number of elements from the city of Delft and Westland. The new hospital was opened in late 2015.
