BNG appoints Marjanne Sint to Supervisory Board

The General Meeting of Shareholders of BNG appointed Marjanne Sint as a member of the Supervisory Board on August 20, 2012. She takes up the vacant position of Yvonne van Rooy, who retired from the Supervisory Board on April 23, 2012.




Since 2007 Ms. M. Sint has worked as Chair of the Board of Directors of Isala Kinieken, the largest leading clinical hospital in the Netherlands, located in Zwolle.

She studied macroeconomics at the University of Amsterdam and after graduating in 1974 worked as a policy officer at the Ministry of Economic Affairs from 1974 to 1977 and from 1977 to 1979 at the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Recreation and Social Work.
Ms. Sint held various positions at VNU Business Publications in Amsterdam from 1979 to 1987. She was appointed Labor Party Chair in 1987, which position she fulfilled until 1991.

From 1991 to 1995 Ms. Sint worked at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations where she fulfilled the position of Director of Inter-Governance Relations and Information Services. She was appointed town clerk to the City of Amsterdam in 1995. Following a brief service as Sector Manager of Public Administration at Berenschot Group, Ms. Sint held the position of Secretary-General at the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment from 2000 to 2007.
