Expansian in and around Ahoy

As part of the development Rotterdam Ahoy is undergoing a significant expansion with an international convention centre, music hall, cinema and hotel. The low-traffic area of De Gooilandsingel will be the link connecting Ahoy to Hart van Zuid. The Zuidplein shopping mall will also be renovated and made more accessible. This will also result in much better and more user-friendly public transport connections for the area; for instance, the metro and bus hub is being upgraded.
