BNG Bank in top 3 of world's safest banks

BNG Bank is ranked in the top 3 of the world's safest banks list, as published by the magazine Global Finance. As in previous years, BNG Bank is regarded the safest Dutch bank. Worldwide, it ranks behind a German and a Swiss bank.
On 19th October 2019, during the IMF World Bank meetings in Washington DC, the world's safest banks were awarded during an awards ceremony hosted by Global Finance.
The 'World's 50 Safest Banks' were selected through a comparison of the long-term credit ratings and total assets of the 500 largest banks around the world. Ratings from Moody's, Standard & Poor's and Fitch were used. The German bank KfW is ranked first.
