A new building for 's Heeren Loo Zorggroep

Biggest institution in the intellectual disability care sector
With fourteen thousand employees and a budget of over six hundred million euros, 's Heeren Loo Zorggroep is the Netherlands' largest institution operating in the intellectual disability care sector. Investments in property are required because a significant amount of housing is now out of date. Like other institutions in the intellectual disability care sector, 's Heeren Loo Zorggroep can only fund part of the necessary investments itself, which is why it needed a loan.
Lending
Over the past four years, 175 million euros has been invested. 's Heeren Loo Zorggroep was given the autonomy to decide when and in what amounts the short-term loans were converted into long-term loans. The Healthcare Sector Guarantee Fund (WfZ) was closely involved in the process and gave a favourable opinion at the outset regarding this financing arrangement.
